about

I’ll tell you about me, but first let’s talk about you. You know that last minute dash to the grocery store because you forgot a card? Okay maybe you forgot a gift too so it has to be a nice card. Then after 20 minutes you pick out a card that is low-quality or decent at best (it may have cost you $8, ugh). You were trying to be thoughtful, couldn’t your local Walgreens help you out?

Once I started collecting cards to have on hand I became a card sending queen. Whether it was a birthday card, a house warming card, or a you-just-broke-up-with-that-guy-and-I-wish-I-was-close-enough-to-go-get-ice-cream-with-you card — I always had just the card. As most of my fellow paper lovers know, our good habit isn’t cheap. I started looking for ways to get high quality cards at a more affordable price. That’s when pep talk paper co. was born.

whether you’re paper obsessed or just want to be more thoughtful — send some pep talk paper to a mailbox near you.

I’m so glad you’re here, did I mention that yet? It used to be my retirement dream to own a stationary store. Then I realized in my mid-twenties I’m too far from retirement. So pep talk paper co. is alive + well online because who says you have to wait until retirement to live out your dreams?

If you’re still wondering about the girl behind the piles of cards, my name is Jess. I’m a proud Okie that lives in the city that spreads love: Nashville, TN. I believe in the power of prayer, a call to your mom, and a hot bath — in that order. Thank you for supporting small, sending smiles, and keeping snail mail alive.
